The video became controversial among students at Historically black colleges and universities (HBCU), most notably Spelman College, black political and popular cultural commentators, women’s groups, and other activists for its overt depiction of women as sexual objects. The term Tip Drill refers to an obscure sexual practice involving the buttocks, and so the video is populated with gorgeous honeys with bangin' backsides. At one point, Nelly takes out his credit card and swipes it through the crack of one of his video babes, an act of sexual objectification that is both hilarious and hot.

The music video for the song was directed by Marty Callner, who directed most of Whitesnake's videos in the 1980s. It became memorable due to gorgeous redhead actress Tawny Kitaen's appearance wearing white lingerie. In the video she is seen prancing on the hood of Whitesnake lead singer David Coverdale's Jaguar and massaging him while he is trying in vain to concentrate on driving. Kitaen would later become Coverdale's wife for a brief period. The video does, however - the image of the leggy brunette Kitaen doing the splits over two cars is indelibly implanted in our minds, and should be in yours as well.

What starts out as merely suggestive, with an array of brunette babes slowly sipping, quickly ratchets up into a fully gonzo explosion of fluids, as the conservatively-dressed ladies end up splayed out on what appears to be a dentist's chair taking huge splatters of milkshake to the face in an obscene pornographic parody.

Being nearly the same to the video for "Ya Soshla S Uma" (I Lost My Mind) (except for vocal portions), the music video for All the Things She Said was of Yulia and Lena wearing Catholic school uniforms, singing along together in the rain, and snow. The two eventually kiss while behind a chain fence, where on the other side there is a crowd of on-lookers. It is meant to seem like the crowd is watching these two lesbian girls who are in some sort of cage.

The video caused controversy in countries where it was played. In fact, it was listed on Much Music's 50 Most Controversial Videos at number 4. It also gained popularity and critiques from their kiss in the video. Ivan Shapovalov directed the video.

In the United Kingdom, TV presenters Richard and Judy campaigned to have their video banned from TV claiming it pandered to paedophiles with the use of school uniforms and young girls kissing.
